June-Sung Park wins Arthur Nikisch Competition

The First Prize of the Arthur Nikisch Conducting Competition has been assigned to June-Sung Park, born in Seoul, South Korea in 1982. Park was Assistant Conductor to Thomas Dausgaard at BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and the Leverhulme Conducting Fellow at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland from 2017 until 2019. He also won First Prize winner at the Aram Khachaturian International Conducting Competition 2016.

The Second Prinze in the Arthur Nikisch Conducting Competition has been assigned to Pablo Druker (Argentina), while Third Prize was won by Ondrej Vrabec (Czech Republic).
